Six months before the start of the 12th
RETTmobil, the preparations for the European trade fair are in full swing.
At a general meeting of the IKR e.V. - the Association of Manufacturers of
Ambulances and Emergency Vehicles, which is the honorary sponsor of RETTmobil
since 2001, all details regarding the largest event of the industry in Europe
were discussed, covering exhibition, education and mobility.
Again more than 300 exhibitors from more than 16 European countries will
present themselves on 70,000 sqm of exhibition space and display their
products.
In 17 exhibition halls, on the extensive outside area, the test-drive terrain
for off-road driver training and a test track for driving safety exercises,
more than 20,000 professional visitors from Germany and abroad are expected
next year.
The exhibition, the professional education program including medical rescue
service training courses and workshops, as well as mobility, have been the
three central pillars of RETTmobil from the beginning. RETTmobil with its
eleven-year success story has become an internationally recognized trade fair
in Europe.
The 12th RETTmobil showcases products, innovations and services of the leading
manufacturers of ambulances and emergency vehicles, renowned exhibitors of
vehicle equipment, emergency medical technology, wireless communication technology,
apparel, publishers, professional organisations and associations, charities,
fire departments and the german federal army, as well as representatives from related
industries.
Next year, a daily fair-forum will be added to the exhibition program, which
will offer diverse live presentations and public discussions on rescue service
topics.
The Working Group of Firefighters in the Rescue Service AGBF (AG FreDi) is participating
in this prestigious forum for the first time at the 12th RETTmobil.
The well-proven program of rescue-medical training and workshops with key
departments and renowned speakers will again inform the audience on current
issues at the 12th RETTmobil.
Professionals and volunteers from fire departments and agencies, members of the
Technical Relief Service, the police and other organisations will once again demonstrate
their skills.
For this the large open-air area with its off-road course and the integrated test-track
provide ideal conditions. Here, all interested individuals can experience
mobility with the latest vehicle and rescue equipment first hand.
The German Bundeswehr will present numerous modern vehicles employed in the
medical field, which will be shown at the off-road course.
The 12th RETTmobil will take place in the Baroque City of Fulda, which is known
as the venue in the middle and the location of short distances.
The exhibition is open daily from 9 am – 5 pm. 2,000 free parking lots for visitors
and a free shuttle service from Fulda Central Station to the exhibition grounds
at Messe Galerie Fulda are available.
