Unique Exhibition For All Lifesavers

18th RETTmobil 2018 from 16 to 18 May in Fulda: Leading International Trade Show for Rescue and Mobility

As a global showcase of superlatives, the 18th RETTmobil 2018 from May 16 to 18 in Fulda is also an absolute must and an indispensable platform for all rescue forces. With 540 exhibitors from 20 nations and over 28,000 expected visitors, the leading international trade show for rescue and mobility is consolidating its excellent reputation and scoring with a further increase in quality. Fulda will be the focus of the entire rescue industry for three days.

According to Messe Fulda GmbH, which has been responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of this major solitary event right from the start, exhibitor interest is growing from year to year. The management with Petra Dehler-Udolph and Dieter Udolph expects another increase in quality. Their optimism is also based on the record results of RETTmobil last year with 28,517 trade visitors and 525 exhibitors.

The central venue of Fulda with 70,000 square metres of exhibition space, 20 halls including an extensive outdoor area at the Galerie Fulda exhibition area offers the best conditions for renewed success. From the very beginning, RETTmobil's excellent reputation has rested on three pillars: Trade fair, training and mobility. Quality has become the fourth pillar. Numbers speak a convincing language: almost 317,000 trade visitors and over 5,600 exhibitors have been registered at the 17 events held to date. This makes the RETTmobil a unique platform for all major aid organisations. Also in 2018, the German Fire Services Association, the Working Group of Fire Brigades in Rescue Services, the Fulda Fire Department, Malteser Hilfsdienst, Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, the German Red Cross and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief will be among the participants.

RETTmobil presents products, innovations and services: Products of well-known manufacturers of ambulances and rescue vehicles as well as of renowned exhibitors from the fields of vehicle equipment, emergency medicine, clothing, radio technology, publishing houses, professional associations, aid organisations, fire brigades and the German Federal Armed Forces as well as other comprehensive industry products.

The Fulda Fire Department has once again prepared an exciting training programme for emergency personnel this year. This includes demonstrations of the height rescue group as well as the rescue, transport and handover of a patient under a mechanical, fully automatic chest compression. In addition, a new telescopic mast platform with a height of 42 metres will be used.

Important additions to the extensive range of information offered by RETTmobil are the traditional science congress and the specialist programme consisting of training courses and workshops for medical rescue services with renowned speakers.

Visitors experience mobility in the off-road area for training and on the test track for driving safety exercises. Here current vehicle and rescue technology is shown.

Dr. Frank-Jürgen Weise has assumed patronage of the 18th RETTmobil, the world's most important forum for innovation, safety, quality, competence and further education. The new president of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe will open the fair on Wednesday, 16 May, at ten o'clock in Fulda, the city where fire brigade history has always been written and is still being written today.
