10th RETTmobil 2010 on three days again
After 9 successful specialized exhibitions in the years 2001 to 2009, RETTmobil again will be held over the course of three days this year at the request of the exhibitors.
The Trade Fair Center of Messe Galerie Fulda was first opened in 2004 and has become the location of numerous successful exhibition events ever since. The functions building, where exhibition management, congress office and press bureau are accommodated, is also located on the fair grounds.
The Community of Interests of Manufacturers of Ambulances and Rescue Vehicles (IKR e.V.), as the ideal sponsor, as well as the Messe Fulda GmbH as organizer began preparations for the 10th RETTmobil back in June 2009 and can so far register a steadily increasing number of exhibitors.
The exhibition grounds provide:
- 13 exhibition halls
- extensive open air grounds
- almost 70,000 m² exhibition space
- approx. 350 exhibitors
- an optimized off-road driving terrain.
This is impressive key data for an event which has continuously progressed since 2001.

Besides IKR members, the number of exhibitors of ambulances and rescue vehicles from 12 European countries has grown further in the lightweight construction halls. Here are located a wide variety of exhibitors in the fields of vehicle equipment, emergency medicine, clothing, radio technology, publishing houses, technical associations, aid and rescue organizations as well as all other associated sectors.
Apart from the Fulda Fire Department various other aid and rescue organizations will present themselves with practical demonstrations and additional activities on the open air grounds. The impressive participation of the German Federal Armed Forces will take up more space again this year. The off-road terrain integrated in the trade fair with driving safety exercises and off-road training makes mobility a personal experience.
The high-quality education and training framework program modified this year is based on two main pillars of education: workshops and training. The courses are organized under the management of Prof. Dr. med. Peter Sefrin and are held by many prominent speakers.

The framework events will be held at three locations and in the immediate vicinity of the trade fair grounds. All details on the courses offered at the exhibition and the framework program can be found in the newly designed flyer.
The 10th RETTmobil will be open from 9am until 5pm on all three days of the exhibition. Parking for visitors on the exhibition grounds is free, while the reasonable entry prices have remained unchanged for many years.
This year too, the organizers expect a five-figure number of visitors from the Federal Republic of Germany, European countries and overseas.
